Water-Based Conductive Slurry for Lithium and Sodium Batteries
This water-based conductive slurry uses carbon nanotubes (CNTs) or graphene as the core conductive material, with water as the solvent. Our composite water-based conductive slurry is enhanced with graphene produced using our unique exfoliation and dispersion process. The excellent electrical conductivity of CNTs and graphene, combined with graphene’s flexible sheet structure, forms an efficient 3D conductive network throughout the material system. This reduces the internal resistance of batteries and enhances charge-discharge rates and cycle performance. The CNT-based water conductive slurry leverages the superior conductivity of carbon nanotubes, reducing the required amount of conductive agents, thus improving battery density, charge-discharge rates, and cycle performance.
